Types of Awards
In general, financial awards can be made in one of the following four areas:
Support to students to help ensure that they can continue and complete their further education course.
Students who have or are about to graduate and need support to move into the next phase of their studies e.g. moving from an HND to higher education (Bachelors).
Support for students who have or are about to graduate and require support to pursue their career in singing e.g. travel costs to auditions, cost of creating a demo tape etc.
Support to enable faculties to take a group of students to see professional productions or performances
The Fund has limited resources and, to preserve these, grants awarded to successful applicants are generally modest (typically £1000). The success of an application cannot be guaranteed, but those who fit the relevant categories are encouraged to apply.
